Mark Zuckerberg & Wife Expecting First Baby, Opens Up on 3 Previous Miscarriages

Mark Zuckerberg, the billionaire CEO of Facebook and his wife Priscilla Chan were recently listed as the youngest couple in a list of the 10 richest couples in the world. But the couple who got married in 2012 have experienced their fair share of grief on the way to becoming parents. Mark Zuckerberg shared the photo above announcing that they are now expecting after several prior miscarriages. He called their infertility journey, "a lonely experience", writing;

"You feel so hopeful when you learn you're going to have a child. You start imagining who they'll become and dreaming of hopes for their future. You start making plans, and then they're gone. Initial reports that award winning Nigerian author, feminist speaker and writer, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is pregnant have been confirmed as more photos emerge from the recent Farafina Trust Literary evening. The event is a conclusion and award giving opportunity for participants in the annual writing workshop put together by Chimamanda every year.

Chimamanda had had a very busy past few months that included an appearance and speech while receiving an award at Girls Write Now, and also a commencement speech for graduating college students at Wellesley. After concluding the writing workshop in Lagos, Chimamanda has now returned to be with her husband in the US where she will give birth.This will be the first child for Chimamanda, married to Dr. Ivara Esegee. Woman Discovers She's 8 Months Pregnant - After Boyfriend Felt Baby Kick

Abby Wake was surprised to learn last week that she is eight months pregnant. The California woman had no idea she was pregnant until her boyfriend Gorman felt a kick and an ultrasound at a hospital revealed she was 32 weeks along.  She said she and her boyfriend believed she was just a little bloated. Wake is lactose intolerant and has an irregular period, and thought movements in her tummy were from gas.

Her Australian boyfriend Jarryd Gorman was the one who finally suspected pregnancy after he felt Wake's stomach at a concert. Dr. Payman Joseph confirmed the baby news to the surprised couple, saying “it is more common than most people think." The doctor however added that Wake is “very thin compared to a lot of the other women that I’ve seen this in."

The couple is taking the news in stride, with Wake using a GoFundMe page to raise money for a "virtual baby shower." Writing as the unborn baby, the page started thus;

65 Year Old To Become World's Oldest Mother of Quadruplets

65-year-old Annegret Raunigk, a schoolteacher, is pregnant, and even more jaw dropping than her advanced age is that she is expecting quadruplets, reports MailOnline

German Annegret Raunigk, already has 13 children. Her latest pregnancy was the result of artificial insemination using both donated sperm and eggs. Ms Raunigk, who is in the 21st week of her pregnancy, said she was ‘shocked’ when an ultrasound scan showed she was carrying quadruplets. Her gynaecologist initially mentioned the possibility of  abortion.

Woman Has 4 Babies in 9 Months [Photos]

Sarah Ward has made headlines after giving birth to 4 babies within 9 months as a result of two pregnancies. The 29-year-old became pregnant with triplets one month after giving birth to her first son. Ward gave birth to her triplets 7 weeks prematurely when her oldest son Freddie was only nine months old. Ward from Crayford, Kent, said that she now changes about 30 diapers each day of all her children.

Ward said that she had a difficult time conceiving her first son, so she was delighted to learn that she was pregnant again.  When doctors discovered that she was expecting triplets, they advised her to abort one of the fetuses to give the other 2 a better chance of survival.
